Refugee Zana Abdollah’s short film Our Country wins Film Nation:Shorts ‘Film of the Month’ for August 2010

The short film Our Country made by refugee Zana Abdollah with other unaccompanied asylum seeking young people from the Kent Refugee Action Network has won the Film Nation:Shorts Film of the Month award for August 2010. The London 2012 Cultural Olympiad initiative Film Nation:Shorts gives 14-25 years olds film-makers the chance to get their work showcased at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
