Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero said Tuesday he had a “reasonable hope” that Madrid will be chosen to host the 2016 Games as experts from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) began inspecting the city’s bid.
Prime Minister Gordon Brown today visited the Olympic Park site, as new figures released showed that up to 30,000 workers will help build the Olympic Park and Olympic Village over the next few years.
